Covid Antibodies Remain for at Least 6 Months After Infection: Study

The large majority of individuals that acquire Covid-19 still have antibodies at least 6 months after infection, a new research study including greater than 20,000 individuals showed.

Some 88% of individuals who evaluated favorable for a previous infection preserved antibodies for 6 months, according to the report by UK Biobank, a significant biomedical database. The number was 99% at three months.

The results comply with various other, smaller research studies that suggest a degree of resistance adhering to a natural infection for at least 6 months. Wellness authorities have stated it’s still vague how long protection through vaccines could last.
